Two Week Hindi Course
This course on, “Gender, Human Rights, Just Governance, Sustainable Development and Women’s Empowerment”, is organised in Hindi/Urdu for grassroots activists in the region. This course includes both men and women. In the past few years it has been organised in Siddhbari, near Dhramsala in Himachal Pradesh by Jagori Grameen.
Two Week Bangla Course
Sangat supports two-week feminist capacity building courses held in Bangla language for grassroot activists in the region. Courses are jointly organised by Swayam Kolkata in collaboration with other organisations. These courses are attended by development workers/activists and are open to men and transgender people. Two Week Tamil Course
The course covers topics such as gender, femininity and masculinity, feminism, patriarchy, violence and law, reproductive rights, communalism, fundamentalism, globalisation and other relevant topics. Sangat supports two week feminist capacity building courses held in Tamil language. This course brings together women activists from Tamil speaking regions. this course is not open to men. In the past few years these have been organised in Madurai by Ekta.
